Special Days for Meditation – March 2011

Submitted by on February 28, 2011 – No Comment

One of the best examples of Nature’s paradoxes is the Hurricane — a whirlwind of tremendous, destructive power but with an absolutely still centre. It’s as if the power of the wind arises from the calmness and peace of the Unmoving centre. Looking at it in another way, it appears like a Zen monk, who’s unmoved and unperturbed by the intense strife and disturbance that goes on around him.

The world we inhabit today and the coming days, portend of disturbances of similar magnitude. We live in times where such a shake-up is necessary to purge our world of the darkness of thousands of years, in order to herald the new age of Light. To live in such circumstances and successfully navigate these difficult periods into the new Light Age, we need to find our centre, our stable ground. The source of such an absolute stillness lays hidden deep within each one of us. This is the centre which connects us to the divine, which anchors us in the midst of the hurricanes of Life.

Meditations connect us to this centre. The practice of meditations is not a choice but a necessity in these times. A dedicated and regular practice establishes stillness and calmness in our system. A continuous practice leads us to connect to the innate intelligence and discriminating power — the Intuition that we all possess. When we continue to meditate with sincerity, we begin to clear the communication channels with the higher intelligence and start to establish a contact with them. Many other processes occur, but essentially, we move from being ordinary helpless humans to awakened Individuals who hold the divine Light of tomorrow. The new age dawns, not on its own, but through each one of us.

Let us take meditations seriously and make it a part of our daily living, wherever we are or whichever path we follow. Every path is guided and monitored at the higher levels by the eternal gurus of Mankind, the Rishis. They have defined meditations in simple terms and devised techniques which can be practiced by anyone. Some of the advanced techniques, which can convert our physical bodies into Light bodies have been shared here, along with the higher knowledge about Light bodies.

These practices can set us on the path towards spiritual enlightenment, where anyone can establish direct links with the Supreme Intelligence. What is needed is a strong intent and a sincere effort at Meditations. Let each one of us resolve to rise above our perceived ordinariness and re-establish our connection with the Divine. Let us accelerate our journey towards Light.

This month of March has two wonderful opportunites to accelerate our efforts. First is Maha Shivratri where the energies of Lord Shiva will be available on the Earth for 10 days and Kama-Dahana on the Pournima day where special energies are available to help us burn the inner negativities and absorb more Light.

The following are the important days for meditations in the month of March:

March 2 – Maha Shivaratri

Today is the day when the entire humanity worships Lord Shiva. An amsha of his will be escorted to the Earth by the Rishis and Lord Shiva will be staying here for 10 days. His energies will be abundantly available for all during this period of 10 days, from the 2nd till the 11th of march.

Rishis say that this period is very important. We are entering into the deeper phases of the transformational processes and naturally the churnings will  intensify. For this purpose Lord Shiva himself will be releasing a lot of energies. He will also work towards healing the Earth and humanity too.

Through Meditations try to experience him as much as possible.

March 04 – Amavasya

The New Moon day (Amavasya) is the day when we can easily go within and introspect, contemplate and learn. We can also connect with our departed elders and ancestors to express our Love and learn from them.

March 19 – Pournima,
Kamadahana

This is the day when we can burn a lot of our inner negativities and move faster towards Light. A lot of special energies will be available after the moonrise which will help in this.

The full moon day is generally when all the energies are at their maximum potency. Because of this factor, this day is very good for both material and spiritual activities.

On this day, we are blessed by the Divine for any of the good deeds we do. Rishis say that it’s a very good day for Meditation, Prayers, Inner Healing and Positivising because the Spiritual Energies are at their best.

On this day, Spiritual works like anchoring of energies can be successfully done as there will be a direct guidance from the Source God, ParaBrahma Himself. All spiritual activities can be easily accomplished because they evoke the grace of God Himself.

March 21 – Equinox

Equinox is the day when the Sun is directly over the Equator of the Earth and this alignment helps a lot of new and important energies to flow to the Earth. Meditate more to absorb the new energies.

On this day, the Pralaya processes will also be intensifying.
