Special Days for Meditation — October 2019

Submitted by on October 4, 2019 – 2 Comments

We have an abundance of new energies from Devi Loka during Navaratri and they help humanity immensely. This is a wonderful period for us to spend in nurturing ourselves, healing many of the inner pain and issues that have hurt us, and come out of suffocation. The energies also importantly help us to bring a nice emotional balance within.

The special energies from Adi Shakti also aid us in the bigger picture. They are strengthening many fundamentals of the Light Age, especially those of Purity, Peace and Divinity. They are also helping in the cleansing and transformation processes on Earth and in bringing about the seriousness of the transition in humanity.

We have the occasion of Diwali towards the end of the month. This occasion has many historic events related to it like the victory of the Lord Krishna over the rakshasha Naraksura, the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya from his exile and the defeat of Bali by Lord MahaVishnu (in the form of Vamana). These events are the symbolic of victory of Light over darkness.

We will have amazing energies that help strengthening our inner Light. We shall also have special energies from Goddess Mahalakshmi on the 28th.

We had published a technique in the previous month’s article that helps the individual with Inner Strength and Peace. This is a wonderful technique from the Rishis and is important. We are repeating it again below. They yield wonderful results when practiced regularly.

Face North
Duration 12 to 15 minutes

Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with bright Golden Light

Then pray to Lord Hanuman for strength and protection. Pray to Santoshi Devi for Peace, Guidance and Divine help.

After this imagine bright-Blue Light coming from Lord Hanuman and dark Purplish-Pink Light coming from Santoshi Devi. Allow these to fill you completely and experience for some time.

Then extend the same Light to your struggles and imagine them to get engulfed by the Light. Then extend the Light around you and imagine the Light shielding and protecting you, giving you inner strength and Peace. Keep experiencing this throughout the Meditation.

Repeat the mantra “Om Mahakaya Shaktiyai, Santoshi Deviyai Namaha” silently.

The Special Days for Meditation in October are –

29th Sep to 7th Oct – Navaratri
8th Oct – Vijaya Dasami

Utilize the opportunity of Navaratri for your Sadhana. Each day there are new energies and they are unique. Connect to them and experience. These energies also carry messages and information. Try to spend some time in listening and understanding.

Many have an intent to progress and improve, but the might of their inner issues, Pralaya energies and the karmic influence holds them back. Pray to Adi Shakti for help and support. Her Blessings and guidance will help the individual out of all these knots.

There are various inner aspects that we can pray for and work on along with the Meditation. We can pray for inner Peace and Love and strength. We can also pray to strengthen our inner talents and skills and explore new ones.

We can work on our understanding and Wisdom and pray to be always open so that we are in a position to learn new things. We can also work on strengthening the practice of our knowledge. Many individuals are usually weak in this area. We understand many Spiritual realities but struggle to implement or practice them. The energies from Adi Shakti help in this.

And most importantly pray and work towards balancing the Spiritual and material aspects of your life. This balance will lead to Peace and harmony in our lives.

The technique that we can practice during this period –

Face North
Duration – 1 to 2 hours

Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with dark-Pink Light

Then offer your respects, love and Gratitude to Devi.

Imagine Fluorescent Pink Light coming from Goddess Adi Shakti and allow this to fill your body slowly and gradually. Keep experiencing the Light throughout the Meditation. As the Meditation progresses, imagine yourself to be shining and radiating with the Light.

Repeat the mantra “Om Adi Shakti, Tejasayai Namaha” silently.

.

13th Oct – Purnima

The Full Moon Day will help us immensely in introspection, in Grounding and to accept the realities of Life. Mediate more if possible and be open to receive new energies. The energies also carry messages from the Divine.

The energies educate the individual on the importance of surrender, Sadhana, hard work and the Divine laws. The energies also help us to understand the developments in the transition and the ways to cope up with them. The more we tune in, the easier it becomes for us.

The energies of this Purnima also strengthen the Peace aspects within, and to some extent in the world.

We can practice the following technique on Purnima –

Face North
Duration – 1 hour

Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with bright-Golden Light.

Then imagine bright-Golden Light coming from Chandra Deva (Moon God) and filling your physical body. Experience for some time. Then extend the same Light to your Spiritual pursuits, Prayers and Sankalpa, and finally to your Sadhana.

Keep sending the Light throughout the Meditation and experience it. Repeat the mantra “Om Chandra Svarna Shaktiyai, Shresta Brahmaya Namaha” silently.

.

27th and 28th Oct – Diwali
28th Oct – Worship of Goddess Mahalakshmi

Diwali is the festival of Lights. It is a period of festivities and Sadhana. And a wonderful occasion to Light the inner Light. We will have the special energies of the occasion from the 26th itself and can experience it for all the three days. Connect to the energies and to Light. Fill yourself with these and also with the Wisdom that the Light carries.

On the evening of 28th, we worship Devi Mahalakshmi. The Rishis remind that we pray to Her for both the material and spiritual riches and for contentment. Along with contentment we also pray for balance in our life.

We can practice the following technique for three days, from the 26th to 28th.

Face North
Duration – 1 hour

Begin with 12 rounds of Pranayama with light-Violet Light.

Express your love and gratitude to God.

Then imagine Fluorescent light-Blue Light coming from above and allow this to fill your whole body. Experience for some time. Then imagine yourself to be radiating and shining with this Light.

Then extend the same Light to your Soul and experience. Imaigne the Soul also to be radiating and shining with the Light.

Repeat the mantra “Om Mangalaya Tejasayai, Antarayai Prakasha Brahmaya Namaha” silently.
