The upcoming Maha Shivaratri and Solar Eclipse are especially significant this month.

During this period, Lord Shiva will be present on Earth for 10 days, with his energies most accessible to humanity during the first 3 days. The blessings from Lord Shiva are particularly powerful for deep healing— especially for persistent scars, wounds, and dense, rigid karmas.

The Eclipses themselves hold immense significance, greatly aiding in healing, cleansing, and spiritual evolution. This is a powerful period for deep transformation through dedicated meditation and intense Sadhana. During the Eclipses and the fortnight between them, concentrate on your Sadhana and focus on healing inner issues.

This period allows us to attune more deeply to our true nature. Take full advantage of the opportunities to connect with the Light, experience it more fully, and let it shine through you.

The Special Days for Meditation in February are—

15th February— Maha Shivaratri

From February 15th to 24th, Lord Shiva will grace the Earth with His presence for a sacred ten-day period. During this period, He will be accessible to humanity from the 15th to 17th. During this period, seekers will have the rare opportunity to connect with His multifaceted nature—ranging from the disciplined stillness of the Yogi and the raw power of the Nataraja (the Energy-Dancer) to the profound simplicity of the Minimalist.

This period also marks a significant milestone for the many amshas of Lord Shiva who took birth on Earth about five years ago. Although these amshas are still physically children, they have already begun performing vital Astral and energy work. The upcoming Shivaratri will serve as a grand reunion for all of them, unifying their divine presence.

Lord Shiva’s vast assembly of followers—including Shiva-bhaktas, yogis, tantrics, various demi-gods and goddesses, Ganas, and other Personalities—will gather during this time. He will interact with all of them, providing direct guidance and support to each according to their path.

Beyond His followers, Mother Earth will also receive significant help and support from Him. Lord Shiva will use this time to anchor various new energies on Earth, strengthening the essential processes connected to the year ahead and ensuring a stable foundation for the planet’s spiritual evolution.

We receive many questions about what happens during the days when different Divine Personalities are present on Earth. It varies for each Personality. For Lord Shiva, here is a general overview of the events during his stay on Earth—

Whenever Lord Shiva visits Earth, His presence initiates a series of Spiritual and astral events.

The first day is marked by celebration, followed by an astral gathering at night, during which billions of individuals are taken to meet Him. During these encounters, He provides complete attention and mentorship to every soul.

For those who base their Sadhana on Him or perform Tapas with His energies, He helps heal them, clears various karmas, and simplifies their lives as much as is allowed, leading to a definite shift in their spiritual progress.

For the spiritual seeker, He acts as a guide by imparting knowledge, wisdom, and vast amounts of Light. A special blessing He offers to eligible individuals is the opportunity to go within Him and experience His Inner Universe. This is a special blessing from Lord Shiva, and we can all pray to Him for this.

Throughout His stay, His Third Eye functions as a separate entity involved with various works.

Each year, in consultation with Lord Kalki and the Rishis, He involves Himself in various Astral works and projects. For example, during this year’s Solar Eclipse, He will be deeply involved in releasing energies, aiding humanity, and directing global events.

As individuals, we have to mentally prepare ourselves to connect with him and absorb as much as we can during his stay here. It could vary from energies, guidance, knowledge and blessings.

Generally, Lord Kalki and Lord Shiva work together on various projects. The Rishis, Bi-bodies, and other Lightworkers will also be participating in Astral and energy work during these ten days.

During His visit, Lord Shiva typically carries two containers. The energies and contents within them are distributed to those He meets.

The container in His left hand holds white Kheer, which contains energies for work, knowledge, powers, and strength. The container in His right hand holds water from Goddess Ganga, the energies of which are for purity, cleansing, immunity, and the reversal of age.

Even the dark forces visit Lord Shiva, though this occurs less on Earth. Instead, He visits Patala (the 14th Loka of the Cosmos) on the final day, when He meets them there.

In recent years, He has been coming to Earth more frequently for various responsibilities. Last year, he descended to Earth during events like the Kumbh Mela, Lord Kalki Jayanti, Akshaya Tritiya, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Vijaya Dasami. As individuals, if we are sensitive enough, we will be able to sense His presence, absorb His blessings, and experience Him.

This upcoming eclipse holds great significance, marked by the presence of Lord Shiva and the Pitru Devatas. The energies during this time will focus on cleansing, clearing karmas and runas, and supporting emotional balance and regulation.

The Pitru Devatas will be especially active throughout the eclipse. Take this opportunity to consciously connect with them during this powerful period.

The energies of the Solar Eclipse will address the emotional dimensions of humanity, working with our feelings, conditioning, and the pervasive influence of Kali Yuga energies. These energies will assist us in transcending outdated patterns and establishing greater stability in our emotional intelligence.

The Rishis advise that we approach these energies with love rather than fear.

From a broader perspective, the energies of the eclipse will also address themes such as free will and various global challenges. The influence of the Time Aspect energies will be present throughout the eclipse period as well.

Mentally connect to Pitru Devatas, your Ancestors, and to the Amavasya energies. Pray to them for healing. Practice gratitude, and allow the Divine to work with you.

Imagine bright-Blue Light coming from the Pitru Devatas, and bright-Green Light from your Ancestors. Allow these to fill your entire body. Experience.

Then extend the Light to your present Birth, Life, and to the Time and Period. Imagine each of these aspects getting engulfed by the Light and shining with it. Keep experiencing.

Repeat the mantra “Om Prasanna Kalayai, Pitru Shakti Ujjwala Brahmaya Namaha” silently.
