Special Days for Meditation — December 2018

Submitted by on December 5, 2018 – One Comment

In our daily life, we get used to a rhythm and a comfort zone and when life expands beyond it, we struggle. Many express that in Meditation, connecting to the Energies and to the Divine are a little harder and difficult than earlier. It is true. There are mixed energies present including that of churning and purging. These cause the issues and shortcomings of individuals to surface. In parallel, life is also mirroring our deeper issues and we are forced to deal with them, willingly or not. Additionally the energies are also getting tougher thereby making the Spiritual life bumpier than usual.

To deal with this, irrespective of our challenges and difficulties, let us stick to the basics. The fundamental characteristics of Sadhana are the Spiritual values— Love, Peace, truth, humility, accommodation. Focus on these aspects. By now, we also know through experience that we have to work hard and put in our sincere efforts for any change to occur. Do not shy away from this. In the present, short cuts will not yield results all the more.

Connect to the Divine every day and pray for hope, for peace and for a smoother transition. Focus on your positives and strengths, both mental and physical rather than only on the areas that need work or your weaknesses.

This month, we will have the presence of a new group of Rishis during Shunya Masa. We shall also have special energies during Solstice and the presence of Vishwatejas Mulabrahmarishi on Christmas. These are wonderful opportunities for us to open up within, connect to the rare energies and strengthen our Spiritual pursuits.

The energies present also provide opportunities and understanding on connecting to the Divine, Pralaya period and for our growth and development. The year ahead will be full of surprises and revelations. Mentally start accepting that such developments will take place from now itself. Tuning in to the Pralaya energies will help smoother transition.

This month is also a wonderful period for contemplation and internalizing. This is more important on the last three days of the month. Prepare, prioritize and make a list of things you want to achieve and on the aspects that matter to you. Strengthen these and let go of the remaining. Consciously ensure that there is a balance between your material and spiritual aspects of life.

The month is also crucial for us as humanity as the Rishis will be taking various decisions regarding the Earth and the transition. Correspondingly new energies will be anchored by them and the Lightworkers across the Earth.

From our end, let us make more efforts to be open and accept the Higher realities. To begin with, accept that change is inevitable and learn to accommodate them. Usually we are willing to do so only in the areas that favour us. Only when we allow changes in all areas will be able to see life with a different outlook and understand more about the transition and the progress. We will also then be able to tune into the period better and utilize the transition more positively and efficiently.

2019 will be a year of surprises and the year of revelations too. The Year ahead will be providing every individual opportunities and facilitate better Sadhana. The mantra for the next year is “work hard and never give up hope”.

The year will help better internalisation and hopefully bring more clarity in our lives. The year is also expected to bring many rewards which is very much required and important.

2019 will also carry energies that will help us to focus on what is important, and to minimalize our material living. Many individuals have gone overboard on almost every area leading to more turmoil and disharmony rather than a content living. The difficulties, greed and commotion have to reduce and the focus should be towards more peace, happiness, better health and joy. And this has to then radiate from the individuals to the entire Earth.

The Special Days of December are—

7th December — Amavasya

This is the day to express our love and gratitude to our ancestors and also to honour Chandra Deva and the Pitru Devatas.

Generally the energies on the New Moon Day tend to be tough. They are not as smooth as the other days and can be challenging. Hence it is ideal to be more in solitude and contemplative, and use the opportunity to work on our inner self.

The energies on this Amavasya will also contain aspects which help each individual to outgrow our conditionings, relearn, and tune into the important issues. They also help us to accommodate the changes going on and not be overwhelmed by them.

Chandra Deva (Moon God) plays an important role during such times. His work and energies involve spreading of truth and justice, and much of humanity struggles accepting it. With the help of His blessings and Meditation, we will be able to absorb and adopt these values much more easily.

We can practice the following technique on this day

Face North-East
Duration— 1 hour

Begin with 12 rounds of Pranayama with light-Blue Light.

Pay to regards to your ancestors, to the Pitru Devatas and to Chandra Deva.

Then imagine Golden Light coming from above and Greenish-Blue Light coming from your ancestors and allow these energies to fill your entire body slowly and gradually. Experience for a couple of minutes.

Then with your intention, send the Light to any difficult situation you are facing. Keep sending the Light for the entire duration of the Meditation.

Keep repeating the mantra “Om Viryayai, Chandrena Shaktiyai, Tejasayai Namaha” silently.

16th December to 14th January — Shunya Masa

Shunya Masa is the period when the Saptarishis go for Tapas and a new group of Rishis takes temporary charge of the administration of the Cosmos. This new group of Rishis will be present for a month till the Saptarishis resume their responsibility.

Because of the presence of the new Rishis, this month is always very special. The new Rishis bring with them unique and new energies and knowledge and we get to experience many new and diverse spiritual realities. Ideally this entire month is spent in Sadhana.

We will have a group of Four Rishis this year. They have been specially invited by Lord Kalki to be present during Shunya Masa. These Rishis come from a special Cosmos known as Prachalitha Loka. This Cosmos is part of ParaBrahma’s manifestation but outside of our part of Creation, which begins from Devi Loka.

The Cosmos of Prachalitha Loka is full of dazzling and radiant Light and each of these Rishis carry varying amounts of this Light. Because of these features, Vasishtha Maharshi calls these Rishis as Prakasha Vani (Channels/transporters of Light)

These Rishis are naturally specialised in the knowledge and functioning of Light and experts in working with it. We can connect to these Rishis during this month and try to learn more about using Light in our living.

We can practice the following technique during the entire Shunya Masa—

Face North
Duration – 1 hour

First silence yourself completely and mentally open yourself to receive knowledge and energies. Be sincere and also patient.

Then offer your respects and love to the new Rishis.

Then imagine bright-Goldenish-Blue Light coming from the new Rishis and allow the Light to fill your entire body. Imagine it to spread throughout and you begin to shine and radiate with the Light as the Meditation progresses.

Keep experiencing this throughout the entire duration. Silently keep repeating the mantra “Om Prakashaya, Prachalitha Brahmaya Namaha”

.

22nd December — Solstice, Purnima

This Solstice is an important day for our Earth. It will be a highly powerful and energetic day and amazing opportunity for us. We shall have the presence of the new Rishis and Lord Kalki. The present Saptarishis are also expected to join them on this day for many special astral works.

We shall have amazing new energies being anchored and spread across our Earth as well as the energies from the Solstice formation and the Full Moon Day. It is a special opportunity and we can utilize it by meditating more.

The special Solstice energies will help us to overcome many of our rigid ways of living, conditionings and become more free. This will also help us tune into the Pralaya phase with more ease. These energies also aid in Inner cleansing and better Spiritual growth. Additionally, the energies help you to understand life in the bigger picture as well as strengthen the Divinity within.

Before Meditation, be very calm and composed. Mentally be open to receive Light and energies from the Divine. You can practice this technique the entire day if you want.

Face North
Duration – As much as you can.

Begin with 10 rounds of Pranayama with bright-Golden Light.

Then imagine bright-Orange Light and bright-Golden Light coming from above and from the Solstice formation and allow this to fill you completely. Imagine yourself to open up and receive as much of the Light as possible. Keep experiencing the Light and absorbing it throughout the Meditation.

Silently keep repeating the mantra “Om Triambakaya, Ayanaya Shaktiyai, Prakasha Brahmaya Namaha”

.

25th December — Christmas

Vishwatejas Mulabrahmarishi has been busy with various works for a long period and it would be wonderful to welcome him to Earth on this day. We will have his presence on the 25th. It would be a wonderful occasion to connect to him and experience his Light and energies.

On this day it would be good if we can focus on our Inner Awakening, and plan for the years to come; both the spiritual and material. Then pray for his blessing, guidance and assistance. Let us be open to incorporate his principles, Light and energies through our efforts and hard work and in accordance with God’s ways.

We can practice the following technique throughout the day and as much as you can to experience Vishwatejas Mulabrahmarishi.

Face North
Duration – 1 hour; more if you can.

Begin with 12 rounds of Pranayama with dark-Violet Light.

Then offer your love, respects and gratitude to Vishwatejas Mulabrahmarishi. Have a strong intent to connect with him and experience the Oneness.

Then imagine Violet Light coming from Vishwatejas Mulabrahmarishi and allow this to fill you completely. Experience the Light for some time.

Then imagine the same Light to fill your Soul and then imagine the Soul merging with the Light from Vishwatejas Mulabrahmarishi. Keep experiencing the Light and Oneness throughout the Meditation.

Silently repeat the mantra “Om Vishwayai, Mula Tejas Brahmaya Namaha”.

31st December — New Year Eve
1st January — New Year’s Day

On the night of 31st is when we thank the present year, express our love and gratitude and also receive feedback on issues that we have not been able to learn. It is also the time where we appreciate ourselves for the progress made and for our hard work.

The time goes very fast and sometimes it is difficult to be abreast of all the developments including our own progress. The Rishis suggest actually noting down on paper our prayers and wishes for the year ahead and then going through it every few months. They will show us the areas where we have been able to progress and the areas we need more efforts.

On the night, be open to receive energies and information from the New Year. The energies help us to evolve internally and also understand the core and important information from the Universe. The more we open up, the better our understanding.

On our Earth, the New Year also begins when the Shunya Masa Rishis are present. So generally their energies and influence are also present in the New Years energies. These are valuable and important.

Each year is different from the other and they bring different plans, direction of movement for humanity and circumstances/situations. When we receive the energies of the New Year, it helps us to tune to the agenda of the Year and align ourselves accordingly. We may not know all the details at the conscious level, but energetically, we can always be harmony. We mentally accept what is required from us from the year ahead.

The transition this time to the New Year will be very different and unique compared to the earlier years. The Rishis are expected to anchor small quantities of Satya Yuga energies as an experimentation to see how humanity responds. For those of us who can connect, it would be amazing. The Rishis emphasize on prioritising, and working on them, so that the External factors can help in strengthening our efforts. Expecting only the external factors to carry us through will not yield results.

We can practice the following technique on the eve of the New Year and also welcome the New Year—

Face North
Timing – 11:30pm (31st) to 12:30am (1st)

From 11:30 to midnight, we pay our thanks and gratitude to 2018 and bid it farewell. From midnight to 12:30am, we welcome the New Year.

Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with Golden Light.

Then we pay our respects and regards to the 2018 Purusha. We also express our unconditional love and gratitude for the year gone by. Then spend some time communicating. You can also pray for feedback to understand how you did in the present year and areas to work on. Then express your farewell.

At midnight, welcome the New Year of 2019 and offer your love and respects. Pray for your growth, wellbeing and Peace. You can also pray for healing, nurturing and protection. Pray for humanity and our Earth too.

Then imagine an abundance of bright Purplish-Orange Light coming from the year 2019 and filling you. Keep experience this Light throughout the Meditation. You can also pray for blessings and a better understanding of the year ahead.

Silently, keep repeating “Om”.

Note— You can practice the second part of the technique of experiencing the New Year, anytime on the 1st of January.
