Special Days for Meditation — September 2019

Throughout September also, we are graced by the presence of Divine Personalities on Earth. This period is undoubtedly an important period for Sadhana and contemplation. For each of us, life is busy and there are important responsibilities. But we can make some time every day to connect to the Divine Beings and commune with them.

Each of the Personalities have so much to offer. They carry enormous Wisdom, Love and energies. These are unique opportunities and making use of them yield large benefits. It happens both individually and collectively.

This is the period for more Meditation. The blessing and special energies we receive from each of the Divine Personalities will impact our lives and aid our growth abundantly. Their grace helps us to evolve and transform. We have to be open and humble, and make efforts.

Generally life around is getting tougher. The churnings of Pralaya bring to surface various issues and sometimes it gets overwhelming for the individual to handle them and to cope up with the external developments. The Rishis remind us to take the help of Light at such times; In particular the help of dark-Blue Light in these situations. The Light eases the situations.

The Rishis also suggest the following technique. It yields good results when we practice regularly. The energies we gather help in protection, gaining inner strength and help from the Divine. It will also help in all the areas required in this period.

Face North
Duration 12 to 15 minutes

Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with bright Golden Light

Then pray to Lord Hanuman for strength and protection. Pray to Santoshi Devi for Peace, Guidance and Divine help.

After this imagine bright-Blue Light coming from Lord Hanuman and dark Purplish-Pink Light coming from Santoshi Devi. Allow these to fill you completely and experience for some time.

Then extend the same Light to your struggles and imagine them to get engulfed by the Light. Then extend the Light around you and imagine the Light shielding and protecting you, giving you inner strength and Peace. Keep experiencing this throughout the Meditation.

Repeat the mantra “Om Mahakaya Shaktiyai, Santoshi Deviyai Namaha” silently.

The Special Days for Meditation in September are :

1st Sep — Experiencing Devi Gowri

An amsha of Devi Gowri will to descend to Earth at 12noon on the 1st and will be present till the noon of 3rd Sep.

Gowri Devi is the personification of the Mother aspect and we can take the help of her energies to nurture ourselves. Her energies along with that of Lord Ganesha will help in removing hurdles and other negativity.

Be as open as possible and be receptive. These three days of Her presence will be amazing and try to experience Her as much as possible.

Devi Gowri is also a granter of boons and gifts. Spend some time in contemplation and then Pray wisely. The boons once granted cannot be taken back and we have to accept them.

We can practice the following technique to experience Her.

Face North-East
Duration – 1 hour

Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with bright Golden-Pink Light

Pay your respects, love and gratitude to Devi Gowri. Then place your prayers and concerns to Her.

Then imagine Purplish-Pink Light coming from Devi Gowri and allow this to fill your slowly and completely. Keep experiencing this throughout the Meditation.

Repeat the mantra “Om Gowri Shaktiyai Namaha” silently.

2nd Sep — Experiencing Lord Ganesha

Lord Ganesha will be on Earth for 10 days from the 2nd and we will be able to connect to him easily during this period. The Rishis too look forward to His presence as they also receive an abundance of strength, help, assistance, solace and Love from Lord Ganesha.

The present transition phase has thrown up a lot of challenges within many individuals. The present phase is tough and many unwanted aspects like fear, frustration, insecurities and other negativity are strengthening.

The energies of Lord Ganesha will help in clearing these and in bringing stability. We can pray to Him not only for ourselves, but for the entire humanity as all are experiencing different degrees of this. We can pray to Him for his guidance and help to sail smoothly through this phase.

We can also pray to Him for his Blessing, Wisdom, Grace, Strength, and for clearing our hurdles and obstacles. We can also take His help to clear many long term issues that we are facing.

The more we experience his energies, the better we will be able to perceive issues from a neutral and higher perspective. We will be able to make clearer choices (to be followed up with our efforts)

The 2nd and 3rd will be important days as we will have the presence of both Devi Gowri and Lord Ganesha and their energies combined help very efficiently in this. Their energies also help in better health, Divine support and unconditional Love.

We can practice the following technique from the 2nd till the 11th.

Face North
Duration – 1 hour

Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with bright Golden Light.

Then offer your love, gratitude and Light to Lord Ganesha. You can also place your prayers to Him.

Then imagine bright-Golden Light and bright-Red Light coming from Lord Ganesha and allow this to fill you slowly and completely. Experience this throughout the Meditation.

Repeat the mantra “Om Ganeshaya Namaha” silently.

3rd Sep — Rishi Panchami

This is the day dedicated to honour the work of the Rishis for their selfless service and unconditional love towards God’s Creation. On this day they will be rewarded and given lot of gifts by God.

It is an important occasion each year, but as the nature of the Rishis go, it is kept very low key and underplayed.

We can express our Love and gratitude to the Rishis. Most importantly, we contemplate on the Spiritual values of the Rishis and make more efforts to imbibe them in our lives.

We can also spend the entire day connecting to the Rishis, or even to a particular Rishi of our choice ad experience them as much as possible. Let us connect to their Love, Wisdom and Light and also learn from their knowledge and understanding.

On this day, God felicitates the Rishis for their selfless service, hard work, love and dedication. Many Rishis are also initiated for newer responsibilities.

We can practice the following technique to connect to the Rishis and experience them.

Face North
Duration – As long as you can.

Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with Orange Light.

Then offer your Love, respects, gratitude and Light to the Rishis. Pray to them for a connection with them as well as their guidance and Love. For the technique, pray that you are able to experience them.

Imagine bright Orangish-Golden Light coming from the Rishis and allow this to fill your slowly and gradually. Experience for some time. Then extend the same Light to your Soul and imagine a connection being established between you and the Rishi. Keep experiencing this throughout the Meditation.

Repeat the mantra “Om Rishi Shaktiyai, Prakasha Tejasayai Namaha” silently.

12th Sep — Experiencing Lord Ananta Padmanabha

We shall have the presence of Ananta Padmanabha from the 12th till the 21st. As always, He comes with an abundance of New energies. The Rishis mentions that along with the energies from Vaikunta, He will also be bringing special energies from Jyesta Nakshatra (Antares Star). In Jyesta Nakshatra, there is a huge statue of Lord Ananta Padmanabha which is about 51,000 miles long and it radiate special energies from the Ruby in the forehead.

Lord Ananta Padmanabha will be making these available to the entire Galaxy as it is required by the Rishis for their work. These special energies will also be available to all of us to experience. The main requirement from the individual’s side is to be open and accepting.

Other than this He will also carry a lot of New Wisdom and other Principles of energies. We are not used to these and it will be interesting to spend some time and understand what they are. These energies may be tough as we are not used to them but patience and love will help us to accommodate them as much as possible.

We can practice the following technique during these 10 days to experience Lord Ananta Padmanabha.

Face North
Duration – 30 to 60 minutes

Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with bright-Blue Light.

Then offer your respects, gratitude and Love to Lord Ananta Padmanabha.

Imagine bright Blue Light coming from Lord Ananta Padmanabha and allow this Light to fill our slowly and completely.

Then extend the same Light to your prayers, concerns and inner obstacles. Keep experiencing the Light throughout the Meditation.

Repeat the mantra “Om Ananta Prakasha Padmanabhaya Namaha” silently.

13th Sep — Purnima

This Purnima is auspicious as it will also contain the energies of Ananta Padmanabha. It is a very auspicious day to strengthen our Spiritual pursuits and make Sankaplas.

The energies cleanse, provide new opportunities and help us have a broader outlook towards life. They also help us in different aspects of our daily living. The energies also highlight our inner strengths and our shortcomings.

The Rishis and Lightworkers will be executing many projects on this day. Their work will help our Earth become more Divine and hold more Light. They will also tune the Pralaya energies to be better supportive to the individuals and aid in the balancing of the material and spiritual aspects of their life.

We can practice the following technique for Purnima-

Face North
Duration – 1 hour

Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with bright-Golden Light.

Then imagine bright-Golden Light coming from Chandra Deva (Moon God) and filling your physical body. Experience for some time. Then extend the same Light to your Spiritual pursuits, Prayers and Sankalpa, and finally to your Sadhana.

Keep sending the Light throughout the Meditation and experience it. Repeat the mantra “Om Chandra Svarna Shaktiyai, Shresta Brahmaya Namaha” silently.

14th to 28th Sep — Pitru Paksha
28th Sep — Mahalaya Amavasya

The fortnight of Pitru Paksha is dedicated to connect to our ancestors. We express our love and gratitude to them and also seek their blessings. This is also the period where we can work on clearing many of the ancestral runas and karmas.

We can also make use of this period to understand more about our ancestors and their good and not so good deeds. This helps us to understand many of the “family circumstances” we are in and will further lead to us solutions and ways to improve and change.

We will not be able to connect to our departed ancestors directly. Many of them would have taken birth again and we cannot go about disturbing them. Special Beings known as the Pitru Devatas help in being the intermediaries for this purpose.

We pray to the Pitru Devatas first who will help in communicating our sentiments and energies to the ancestor. We also pray to Lord Hanuman as he will protect us from the unnecessary energies and drama that may entail while connecting to them.

The final day of Pitru Paksha is known as Mahalaya Amavasya. It is an important day and try not to miss meditating on this day. Other than offering our love and gratitude, we can also pray for more Peace and Light for all of them and for them to grow Spiritually. We can pray that there is a balance and they all struggle less in their respective future and finally achieve their goals of Mukti.

We can practice the following technique during this period. As Lord Ananta Padmanabha would be present till the 21st, practice both the techniques, duration depending on the time available.

Face North
Duration – 30 to 60 minutes

Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with bright Green Light.

Pray to the Pitru Devatas and to Lord Hanuman and then begin with the technique.

Mentally connect to your Ancestors. Imagine bright-Blue Light coming from the Pitru Devatas and bright-Green Light coming from your Ancestors and allow this fill your body completely. Keep experiencing the energies coming from them.

Repeat the mantra “Om Pitru Purvakaaya, Visarjana Brahma Shaktiyai Namaha” silently.

23rd Sep — Equinox

The period of the Eclipses in July till this equinox is an important one. Various important works were carried out (and ongoing) and there were also various changes and important events. These are part of the future changes required on the Earth.

This Equinox will again be auspicious and very energetic. It brings new energies which aid our Spiritual growth, Shielding and to manifest our Sankalpas.

Be open and absorb these energies. They will help immensely in the individual’s growth and transformation. We can practice the following technique for the Equinox.

Face North
Meditate as much as you can.

Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with bright Goldenish-Blue Light.

Then imagine bright Goldenish-Blue Light coming from the Equinox formation and allow the Light to fill your entire body. Experience for some time.

Then extend the same Light to Material and Spiritual aspects of your life and have an intent that they are balanced and transforming. Experience for some time.

Then send the Light to your day to day activities, your thoughts and emotions, and keep experiencing.

Repeat the mantra “Om Mahavisuvaya, Swarna Brahma Shaktiyai Namaha” silently.

29th to 8th Oct — Navaratri

An amsha of Devi Adi Shakti would be present on Earth during this period and each of the days would be very energetic and intense. Her Light and energies will be available to humanity and we can connect to Her and experience easily.

We connect to Devi Adi Shakti and pray for our material and Spiritual pursuits. We also pray for guidance, clearing of obstacles and for Internalising.

We also connect to her aspects of unconditional Love, Purity, the abundance of patience and Her knowledge and Wisdom and experience this through Meditation.

We can practice the following technique during this period and experience Devi Adi Shakti as much as possible.

Face North
Duration – 1 to 2 hours

Begin with 7 rounds of Pranayama with dark-Pink Light

Then offer your respects, love and Gratitude to Devi.

Imagine Fluorescent Pink Light coming from Goddess Adi Shakti and allow this to fill your body slowly and gradually. Keep experiencing the Light throughout the Meditation. As the Meditation progresses, imagine yourself to be shining and radiating with the Light.

Repeat the mantra “Om Adi Shakti, Tejasayai Namaha” silently.
