Special Days for Meditation — November 2012

Submitted by on November 1, 2012 – 4 Comments

The future is always unknown and hidden because it depends on the choices of the present — both individual and collective. The thoughts, intentions and actions of each individual on this Earth contribute in shaping our collective destiny. The more positive and loving we are, the more peaceful and abundant our future is.

We live in a period where great changes and transformations are occurring at various levels. The Higher Intelligence is assisting humanity and all life on this Earth to move into the future of abundance, peace and unconditional Love—an era of Light. We are presented with numerous opportunities to embrace Light and make it a part of our living. Every churning, difficulty or problem that comes our way is in fact a reminder to tune to Light, remember our deepest connection with It and manifest the qualities of Light in our living.

The month of November brings many more opportunities to tune and relate to Light. We have two occasions symbolising Light and its characteristics at the physical level — Diwali and Shiva & Vishnu Deepa and there are two important eclipses on these days, resulting in an abundance of intense energies. An amsha of Goddess Mahalakshmi will arrive on Diwali, the first eclipse and will be present on our Earth until the second eclipse. She and the Rishis will be executing many works and projects.

The strong and vibrant energies which are already working on our Earth will be further enhanced by the eclipse energies, resulting in intensifying of many Pralaya related processes. This is a period to meditate as much as possible, absorb more the higher energies and manifest Light in the details of our living. As we mentioned last month, let us make clear choices and stick to them. It is this clarity and our connection to Light that helps us in any eventualities.

The special days for meditation this month are —

11 Nov — 11:11 Meditation Linkup

Due to its numerological significance, many groups and individuals around the world connect to each other and participate in group Meditation for the welfare of the Earth. Due to this, the Higher Intelligence also releases new energies to humanity. We too can participate in this by mentally connecting to the whole humanity and praying for peace and love and for the smooth transition of our earth into the Light Age.

13 Nov Amavasya
              — Diwali
              — Worship of Devi Mahalakshmi

The tradition of the festival of Diwali began in the times of Lord Rama when the people of Ayodhya celebrated the return of their beloved king after he killed Ravana and rescued Sita (on Vijaya Dasami day). The people decorated the entire city with lamps and celebrated this joyous occasion by bursting crackers.

The tradition of the festival continues even now where the festival of lights is celebrated for three days across India. People greet their relatives and friends, share sweets, decorate their houses with soft glowing lamps and burst fire crackers.

The new moon day, is the day of return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya.

The preceding day is known as Naraka Chaturdashi. This was the day when the evil rakshasa, Narakasura was killed by Lord Krishna. The victory of God’s Light over the darkness of the demon is celebrated on this day.

The day following the New Moon day is known as Bali Padyami. It is the first day of the new month, which commemorates the defeat of the demon king Bali at the hands of Vamana, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Mythology tells the tale of the righteous but power hungry king, who was pushed down to the netherworlds by a small boy, Vamana, who was the Lord Himself. It is said that the king returns to Earth from the underworld on this day and is worshiped and given a farewell.

These 3 occasions are symbolic of the victory of Light over darkness and hence also known as the festival of Lights. This is the occasion when energies are available to remove the darkness present within us and replace it with God’s Light and purity.

Worship of Mahalakshmi

On this day, an amsha of Goddess Mahalakshmi will descend to our Earth and will be present till the 29th of the month. She is the Goddess of both the Material and Spiritual wealth. In the evening, let us all link and talk to her and gain knowledge and energies. Let us also pray not only for ourselves but also for the entire world.

14 Nov Solar Eclipse (1:07am to 6:15am IST)

The Solar Eclipse is between 19:37 (13th Nov) to 00:45 GMT. This is an important Eclipse. Make your best efforts to meditate throughout the entire duration of the eclipse. The energies released during this eclipse will help all the individuals to cope better and sail through the churning processes occurring.

The energies also help in the birth of new cells in the system which will replace the old cells.

Devi Mahalakshmi and the Saptarishis will be executing many important works at the astral level. They will also be releasing and injecting every individual on the Earth with many new energies during the eclipse.

28 Nov Pournima.
              — Shiva and Vishnu Deepa.
Lunar Eclipse (5:44pm to 10:21pm IST)

The lunar eclipse is between 12:14 to 16:51 GMT.

The occasion of Shiva and Vishnu Deepa is that a lot of energies from Shiva Loka and Vishnu Loka will be available on the Earth on this day, which specially help in the inner cleansing of our system and thereby help us to radiate with Light.

On this occasion we also have the presence of Devi Mahalakshmi and the Lunar eclipse. So all these factors make this eclipse a very important and potent one.

Many opportunities will be available and it is up to us to make best use of them. Let us meditate as much as we can and make use of these opportunities.
